”Squam Light”
Celebrating Annisquam Photographers

Cape Ann is a photographer’s natural studio. Are you one of the many amateur photographers in Annisquam who captures the beauty, charm, mystery, culture and adventure that make Cape Ann special?  If so, you’re invited to share your photographs with the Annisquam community – and beyond – for a week starting Memorial Day weekend. In addition to displaying your talent, you’ll be helping support the ongoing care and maintenance of the Annisquam Village Hall campus.

KEY DATES:

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 30th EXHIBITION DATES: May 23rd – May 31st, 2025 (Reception on Saturday, May 24th)
ARTISTS NOTIFIED BY: May 1st LOCATION: Annisquam Studios, 34 Leonard Street (in the Annisquam Village Hall)
SELECTED WORKS DUE AT GALLERY BY: May 18th JURIED BY: Michael Malyzko, and Walter Bibikow


SUBMISSION AND DISPLAY GUIDELINES:

  •  Photos may be from digital or film cameras, but AI-generated images are not eligible.

  • Submit up to three (3) images, JPEG, or PNG files ONLY.

  • Details on delivery of photos will be provided when notified of the juror’s selection.

  • Gallery placement decided by the organizing committee.  

  • NOTE: Accepted pieces must be framed or mounted & wired for hanging.

  •  Photos may be offered for sale – all photos will be listed on artist info / price sheets at the gallery.

  •  Photographers may donate 50% or 100% of proceeds to the Leonard Club / Village Hall Association to support campus care and maintenance.   

  • Artists whose work is selected will receive complete info on drop-off/shipping when they’re notified of the juror’s decision. Gallery placement will be decided by the organizing committee

  • Accepted pieces must be delivered to the Gallery framed & wired for hanging by May 17th.

  • This is a not-for-profit show. Artists have a choice of receiving 50% of the proceeds, and the other 50% will go to the Village Hall fund. Or give 100% of the proceeds to the Village Hall fund.
